What about warranties on a home under construction?
Warranties and insurance can be purchased by the customer, or the builder can purchase builders’ risk insurance to protect their interest during the construction phase.  The builders’ risk policy would cover the structure until the home is occupied.  Certain policies contain other restrictions, so the customer should review the policy to be sure they are adequately protected.

For information on warranty companies, search the Online Directory by selecting "Warranty Programs" from the Business Activities drop-down list.
