Prize Winners: Above left, Casey Homes' (team Ricky & Beverly at left) "Hook'n Bull" chili took both the Best Overall chili and People's Choice awards; awards presented by TABA President Robert Aiken. Above, Robert presents awards to FNC Ponds Stone & Grass for their "Buck'n Bison Bermuda" chili. Team FNC (below) took Spiciest and Most Creative chili awards.

Team Central Title (above) placed second in People's Choice with their "Chili Under Construction." Below, the judges hard at work! Thank to our Celebrity Judges: Cassie Edmonds, Executive Director of Historic Tyler, Inc.; Deborah Robertson, Sweet Gourmet; and Joe Carlyle, 2011 TAB Vice President/Secretary. Team Jerone Bearden Concrete (above) brought the heat with their "Fire Damage" chili. Below, Team Pyramid Homes introduced their "Camel" chili and noted that no camels were harmed in the creation of their masterpiece. Above, team Altra Federal Credit Union presented their "Texas heat Wave" chili.
During the General Membership Meeting portion of the evening, the 2012 Board slate was approved by a vote.
